(Paper) Fold Collection is a series of sculptural pieces in which I explore folds of different materials (paper, metal, fabric, canvas) to create a piece that ultimately resembles a simple paper fold. The interplay of sculpted folds and varied paint finishes—matte, satin, and glossy—creates a dynamic experience, with the piece transforming throughout the day as light dances upon its surface. Light and shadow morph the colors into an array of shifting shades, drawing the viewer closer and blurring the line between reality and illusion.

Inspired by Magritte and my constant search for the right texture, “It’s Raining Men” is a homage to “Golconda” and Sonoran Desert. Men, who seem to be falling as raindrops over dry desert, are scattered over a textured canvas. As daylight changes and shadows are cast over the painted textures, the composition itself changes and reveals details and underlayers of the artwork.

“Klimt’s Kiss” is inspired by Klim’t “Kiss” and a combination of art nouvaue and primitivism style; the kiss depicts the beginning of it all.
